The Autumn Make-Up Bag

Welcome to a new post!

Hot chocolate, big sweaters, candles and dark lips. It's finally getting autumnal outside, and I am SO exited for it! I mean it's not as cold and drainy outside as I would like it to be, but still. I thought it would be the perfect time to put some Autumn in my make-up bag and share it with you, because who doesn't love a good autumnal make-up look, when it's finally time for dark shades on both lips and eyes?

Sleek - A New Day Eye Shadow Palette
L'Oreal Miss Hippie Mega Volume Mascara
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer
Tanya Burr - Enchanted Forest Lipgloss
Urban Decay Rush Lipstick

As Sleek is finally available in German drugstores now, I obviously had to get myself something. I treated myself to a new eyeshadow palette by them. I already own one, but 'A New Day' is much more of a year round palette for me compared to my other one. It contains lovely shades of brown and also a few highlighting glittery shades that are really beautiful.

Then there are the obvious things that I have always got in my bag, talking about the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer and the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, which are the bomb!

Also one of the most recent mascaras by L'Oreal, which is the Miss Hippie one. It is a really beautiful mascara and definitely VERY waterproof because not  even my best make-up removers get it off easily at night, which can get a little annoying when you are quite tired, but in the end, it's pretty amazing.

Last but not least, one of the most important bits, especially in Autumn - Lips! I picked two options, one dark and one neutral one. Firstly Tanya Burr's Lipgloss in Enchanted Forest, which I am not sure whether you can still get it, as well as the Urban Decay Lipstick in Rush, which are both really lovely lip products, depending on your mood.

What are your Autumn make-up favourites? Do you have a particular look you prefer during this season? Are you ready for Autumn yet?

I hope you have an amazing day, and a good start into the new week ♥

Current Daily Make-Up for School

Welcome to a new post!

I personally like wearing make-up for school, and I am also allowed to, which I sometimes am pretty thankful for. I thought I would show you the things that I currently wear  on a daily basis to go there.

I had a phase back during November and December when I just loved putting a lot of eyeshadow on, maybe because I felt like if I had to stress myself out with exams I could at least give myself some time for a nice eye look. I don't really know, but at the moment I am definetely back to a very quick and simple look, and prefer to rather put on a nice lipstick to top it off, since that takes a lot less time.

Usually I start with putting some of my Collection Lasting Perfection concealer on my spots and blemishes. You will probably all know how much it is hyped, so I won't go into much detail, as I completely agree.
I don't like that one for under my eyes though, because I want something a bit more creamy and less thick to actually feel a bit more awake and not just look like it. I don't really know why I feel like that, but I just go with it, and use my Maybelline Fit Me Concealer under my eyes. It was the first thing I actually spend a little bit more money on when I got into make-up and ever since then I have been repurchasing it over and over. This has to be like my 4th or 5th one, as I love it so much! It is really nice and creamy but not to thick, has an amazing colour to suit me (shade 15) and it stays on really well.

You might be thinking I am forgetting my eyebrows, but I am not. I go straight to my eyes, because I don't do anything to my eyebrows apart from setting them into place with a brush, as they are so bushy and black, no one believes me I ain't use any products on them. :D
So since I got my Naked palette for Christmas, I haven't been using any other palette since, as it has a perfect range of shades, for whatever colour I feel like using. My personal favourites so far are Naked, Buck, Half Baked and Smog. Depending on what I feel like I am either using some glittery shades with either Virgin or Buck to blend it, or if I am feeling like a little less colour, I will use Naked and Buck, or even nothing at all.
I am so happy I finally own this palette, because it really is my favourite make-up product I own as I absolutely love the texture and shade range of the eyeshadows.

Then I am using my favourite mascara combo at the moment, which consists of the Yves Rocher Sexy Pulp one and the Maybelline Lash Sensational. I used to only use the Last Sesational, but I am currently really liking the mix of both of the mascaras, as I feel like the Yves Rocher one seperates my lashes really niceley while the Lash Sensational does and amazing job at lengthening.

Ever since I got back from England in March last year, I don't think I have been using any other powder than the Rimmel Stay Matte one. I only owned one powder before, but I was felt like you wear able to really clearly see it and it's colour, and it would get cakey after some time. With this one I don't get either of those problems, as I chose the transparent one, and it feels really nice on the skin and is really unnoticeable. I never had much truble with shinyness, but still absolutely love the finish of this powder.
Before I use powder I will sometimes use some concealer again under my eyes, if I feel like mascara made it appear a bit darker again, but that usually doesn't happen that often.

For lip products I usually like to go for something really natural, just to give it all a nice little ending touch, but not make it appear too much, not just because I am not really the person to wear that many darker shades on my lips.

One lip product that I go for sometimes which is a bit more colourful though is Zoe Sugg's Lip Balm in the shade or taste 'Vanilla Cream'. It gives your lips a really nice reddish, pinky colour but also moisturizes them really really well, much better than other coloured lip balms I have tried.
Then there is one of my newest addiotions to my collection, the Urban Decay lipstick in 'Rush'. It's a really nice natural rosy shade with a brown undertone, that makes it appear really smooth, which it actually feels like as well.
Lastly for lip products I have been loving Fleur De Force's lipstick in '020 Written In The Stars'. It's almost like a lip stain I would say, and if you want something that looks like a lipgloss, as it's really glossy, but also something that stays on really long, these will be something for you.

I hope you enjoyed this post, even though there are a lot of these going around on the internet. Make sure to leave me some of your favourite make-up products for school or uni or work down below. :)

What I got for my 17th & Christmas

Welcome to a new post!

I personally absolutely love seeing what other people got for their birthday or for Christmas, for example. I thought it would be a nice thing to show you what I got from my friends and family for my 17th and Christmas. As they were very close together (23rd and 24th), and I got a few connected presents, I thought I would put them together into one post.

I don't want to show off with this post at all, just to clarify! I am only showing you these things for fun and inspiration for people that might be looking for presents themselves!

Before I start I also want to say a huge thank you, to everyone that wished me a Happy Birthday on Wednesday, and that thought of me. It really brightened my day. :)
I don't think apart there'll be many people reading this that actually took their time to give me something, but if any of these people are reading this again - thank you so much, again! I am so greatful!

My main present this year was my Kindle, as it is much more affordable to read on it for me, more organized and I can also read much more english books. I also got two cases for it, and I'm already hocked on the books they put onto it!

For my secret santa in school I got some chocolate and a voucher for a German book store, which was quite cool, and my friend got me one of my favourite chocolates and this really nice bath salt!

This is what I got from my Internet bestie, and I literally screamed when I opened the box and saw that Lush stuff. It's probably one of my favourite presents, and it's already being used and loved, just like the wristbands.

I got this Maybelline lipstick, which I actually chose myself :D,  and I love it!
For Christmas I also got this really cute shiny powder spray, which I think has the cutest packaging ever!

My Naked palette is probably my favourite Christmas present ever. I didn't expect to get it, as my parents was completely against it, but you have no idea how happy I was when I found this under the Christmas tree! I'm SO IN LOVE!!

I also got loads of sweets and a few vouchers, but I'm obviously not going to show you that all. Can't wait to show you though what I'll be buying from the vouchers for the make-up store. *-*

One of my closest friends got me these things, and I love them! It's my favourite sprinkling water, plus a cute mug, plus a cute calendar, which I really needed anyway. She also got me a shampoo, but since our faces are on it and it is quite personal, I didn't want to publish it, but it's so lovely and thoughtful!

This is what I got from my best friend, and I am so exited to try this fondue! I've always wanted one for myself, and now I've got one, plus two packages to try it out, so this is definetely going to be used veeery soon, and I cannot wait!

I also got this cute packaged Merci chocolate and also this set my Rituals, which I can't wait to try, as I have only tried their shower foam so far.

I love a good film, so I'm happy I got all the ones that I asked for, as I've wanted to see Insurgent and Paper Towns for quite a while now. I haven't seen the 5SOS one yet, but I especially loved Insurgent so far!

From someone else I got this cute star stuff, which I think is so nice, as I love decoration, and the towel and stuff will definetely be used.

I feel like I now need another room for all of the stuff that I got, as I feel like I'm about to move out with some of the stuff that I got haha. I'm not though, don't worry, not for a few years.
Thank you to everyone that thought of me, and that read this, I am beyond greatful!

If you enjoyed this post, let me know, and also tell me what was your favourite Christmas present that you got this year, if you celebrate it. :)

Autumnifiying my Make-Up

 Welcome to a new post!

Since I've been totally feeling the autumn weather so far this year, it only felt right to put those pink lipsticks and light eyeshadows back in my drawer, and get out the autmn colours.
I'm usually not really a fan of the autumn wether, but so far it's been such nice  weather, even though it's Autumn, so I'm absolutely in the mood for it.

In autumn I'm absolutely loving everything copper, browny and purply toned, wether it comes to make-up, fashion or my nails. It just makes everything look so much more cozy, I don't even know how to describe it.

Starting off with my Sleek au Naturel palette, which is a very warm toned palette in my opinion. I bought this when I was in London last March, and didn't end up using it a lot, since I prefer lighter colours on my eyes during spring and summer. I did keep it though, because I knew I would get use out of it, as soon as it would get colder again, and I was right.
The palette consists of four glittery shades and eight matte shades, and they are all beautifully creamy, though not all of them are super pigmented. The glittery shades are probably my favourite. There's a dark red/purpely toned shimmery colour, the first in the second row, which is probably my favourite shade out of the whole palette. It's so pigmented, but it looks so nice even if you blend it out for a daily look. I put it on a 6 in the morning, and when I came home from school at 4 pm it still looked absolutely stunning.

Apart from the palette, I picked out one other eyeshadow, which is technically an all year round colour. It's the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in 'On and On Bronze'. If you read a lot of blogs or watch youtubers, you will probably have heard a lot about this product, but it's really such a nice and stunning eyeshadow. It's a cream eyeshadow, with the most lovely texture in a goldish, browny colour. It looks so so beautiful on the eyes, and it stays where you put it for hours and hours! Check the Colour Tattoos out, if you haven't yet! They really are worth their money!

One of my favourite Blushes is probably my Rimmel Blush in the shade '050 Live Pink'. It's a really nice fresh pink tone with a nice suttle shimmer, that really brightens up your face. I wouldn't have thought that it would be that good, because I had never heard anyone talking about these before I picked it up in London in March.

I also love using a bit of highlighter during Autumn and Winter, so I've decided to get out my essence highlighter again. I feel like essence is a very underrated brand in the UK, since they sell so many nice products for such low prices! I don't know any german blogger or youtuber that doesn't love essence! The highlighter is in the shade '10 look on the bright side', and it's a really nice creamy highlighter in a creme white colour.

Autumn literally screams for dark reds and purple toned lipsticks and glosses! I've probably gained this love for dark lips by obsessing over the one and only Zoe Sugg aka Zoella.
I picked out two products. One a lipstick and one a lipgloss.

The lipstick again is by essence, and it's in the shade '03 dare to wear'. It's from their long lasting collection, and their lipsticks are so nice and creamy, and you can get them for like 2 Euro!! The colour is a really nice slightly dark red, and I love it!

For my last product I have chosen Tanya Burr's lipgloss in Enchanted Forest. I am not sure wether you can still get this in shops, but have a look at amazon, they sell the old packed lipglosses for such low prices in some countries! This shade is the perfect mix of dark pink and a dark purple in my opinion, and it looks absolutely stunning on! Definetely will be my go to lipgloss this Autumn!

I'd love to find out about your autumn make-up essentials down below! :)
