TOP 5 Lip Lovings

Welcome to a new post!

I felt like I haven't done a beauty related post in ages, so I thought it was the time to. Personally, the two parts I love most about my make-up routine is eyeshadow and lip products. I feel like I have exactly five colours out of all my make-up that I keep on using, talking about lip products, which is why we're talking my TOP 5 lip products today. I personally love natural lips the best, and I'd rather invest in a good lipstick than a lipgloss, as I am not really a fan of my hair getting stuck on my lips 24/7. So that is exactly what I have been trying to do for the past year, instead of buying tons of cheap stuff that ends up not being properly worth it.

MAC 'Syrup'

This is the lipstick that was supposed to be my first ever high end and MAC lipstick, but actually ended up being my second, as it was literally ALWAYS sold out. It ended up being one of the best purchases I did, and the voucher money was definitely spend wisely! Even though it is much more sheer than the creamy ones that I usually swatch, it still comes out looking so pretty on the lips! It's a Lustre finish, and quite a natural colour. I'd describe it as a natural pinky shade, slightly shimmering, but being the perfect mix between noticeable and absolutely natural shaded. You have to reapply it a little more often than Satin finishes, but it disappears quite evenly. If you prefer rose toned, natural lip colours like I do, this is the colour for you to go with.

Fleur de Force ' 020 Written in the Stars'

I knew I wanted this lipgloss straight away when Fleur announced her beauty line, and I am so happy I asked for this for my birthday. As I already mentioned, I am not really the biggest fan of lipgloss, but this one has blown me away. The consistency is so lovely. I feel like it's more of a sticky lip stain, because it stays on that long. It looks like a lipgloss, but literally feels like a lipstick as long as you aren't walking through a storm throwing your hair around. But not just the consistency, but also the colour. It's a really pretty inbetween a rosy and peachy shade. It's another natural colour, but the fact that it's glossy makes it go all boom out on your lips. If you want a natural peachy, pinky shade that is still nicely noticeable, and don't care that it's a little sticky at the beginning, check this one out!

MAC 'Brave'

This is actually the lipstick that I bought instead of 'Syrup' at the beginning, since it was sold out, but Brave was right behind it on my wishlist. This is another natural shade, really pretty for every day wear, even to school. It's a Satin finish, making it quite long lasting compared to Syrup. It's a little warmer than that one though, and a bit more browney-pinky toned than rosy toned. The colour stays on your lips for quite  a while, but I've been noticing that when I'm drinking a lot there's only a weird looking patch on my bottom lip left. But all in all still a great lipstick - otherwise I wouldn't be showing it to you in this post ;)

Urban Decay ' Rush'

This colour is actually quite similar to Brave, and it wasn't even the colour I was meant to buy - cheers to the people at the counter giving the wrong names to the lipsticks! However, I actually really like this colour. It's slightly more lilac toned than Brave, but there's not much of a difference. I feel like the biggest difference is actually how it feels on your lips. I feel like this one is a little more smooth on my lips, so whenever I feel like putting something a little more moisturizing on my lips I'll go for Rush rather than Brave.

Tanya Burr 'Enchanted Forest'

I always wanted this colour but never bought it because I thought I would never wear it and it wouldn't be worth the money, until I found it on Amazon for 5€. I have actually not been wearing it that often, however I absolutely love it. It's a little more noticeable than my other favourites, as it is a darker pinkish shade - perfect, especially for the colder seasons! It doesn't always go on that well, and it can look a little patchy from time to time, but put over a lipstick, you don't even notice it anymore. It's a really lovely consistancy, and even if it's a little sticky, it isn't the biggest hair-catcher, if you want to call it something :D.

I'm always looking for some new lip inspiration. What are some of your favourite lip products? Tell me, I'd love to find out! :)
Have a great day ♥

Sounds Live Feels Live - 5SOS in Munich

Welcome to a new post!

As I said when I started this blog, I am going to post whatever I feel like on here, instead of focusing on one thing. I want to actually be able to be myself on this blog, which means it also has got to contain some weird fangirling posts about concerts. I had seen 5SOS in concert two times before, once with One Direction, once on their own, and I had the best time. I obviously had to get some tickets for the new tour, and it turned out that the best date timewise was in Munich. It turned out to be the best time to see my internet bestie again as well, so we went as a group of four.

I thought it was time to show you the pictures that I took, as there are some lovely ones between the hundreds of blurry ones. To sum the concert up in a few words - it was incredible. I just wish we would've stood in a place where they throw something after the concert for once :P - guess you can't have everything, right?

So before I bore the hell out of you, here are some pretty pics to look at. Sorry, I had to put a watermark on them, since some people still like to steal pictures and pretend they are their own ones, when it comes to concerts.
Oh and by the way, I promise the pictures get better the further you scroll - me and my camera always need a few minutes before we are able to cooperate :D.

(This was the worst blogpost entry I ever made :D)

I would tell you about all the things they said and did and all that kind of jazz, but who wants to hear about that again, it's all around twitter already :D Let me know whether you are going to any concerts soon. I'd love to hear about that, because who doesn't love a little concert :).

Have a great weekend ♥

5 Reasons Why You Should Study Outside

Welcome to a new post!

We all know how annoying it is, having to study for tons and tons of exams. We end up staying in our rooms 24/7, but doing a lot less than we are supposed to do or had planned on. I personally find it a lot easier though, to use the lovely spring and (in a few weeks) summer weather, and work outside instead. It's a great way to combine studying and spending time outside, and personally, it makes me a lot more productive most day. I thought I would give you a few reasons, why you should try that as well. Let's see if I can convince you, and if not, I guess you'll have to keep working inside your room :P.

1) Fresh air and environment

As much as it is much comfier inside on your bed, studying outside will keep your mind a lot clearer, as you are constantly breathing fresh air, helping your brain to work.

2) Less distractions

Don't get me wrong, there's still a lot of things that might distract you from actually working, like your cat coming outside and begging for some love or your mum bringing you a piece of that lovely strawberry cake. But there's less of a chance that you are going to get  up because you just remembered that you could clean out a drawer or reorganize your wardrobe, because you've got them right and front of your face, and they look a lot more appealing than studying. And with less distractions, there's a higher chance that you'll actually work.

3) Getting a tan (if you're lucky)

For the lucky people that actually do get a visible tan, it's the perfect way to be productive and start  getting a tan at the same time. Watch out for sunburns though...And to the people like me, that have to spend months on the beach in 30° weather in order to get a tan - remember you ain't the only one, but you can always pretend you could actually get a little tan this summer.

4) Your parents won't tell you off

I am pretty sure, that most of you have had this moment where your parents yelled at you, because you are apparently staying in your room 24/7 (which is obviously not true - *cough*), or because you aren't studying enough, Well, guess what. Studying outside is a way to end both kind of comments, and actually make your parents look at you like you're an alien.

5) You can use headphones and pretend you are in a summer music video

Am I the only one that does that? Please tell me I'm not, that would make me feel a lot better. Getting some headphones in with some lovely upbeating music, that makes me ready for summer, whilst sitting outside, is like the best thing ever. Whilst writing down weird physical stuff that no one understands, pretend you are being filmed for a music video. It's the best thing ever, and so fun!

Let's just hope you got a little inspired by this post to go and study outside. I will now get my stuff together and spend the last hours of sun on my trampoline, doing some homework, studying, and working on my essay (and probably getting another weird allergic reaction to that shiny thing up there in the sky :D).
What are you up to today? I'd love to find out about your favourite study spot as well. :)

Have a lovely week ♥

Let's have a little chat...

Welcome to a new post!

- Little message from future me: I wrote this post in a total blur and didn't reread it for any mistakes or additions. This is all the plain stuff that tumbled right out of my head, so I'm sorry if it is a little messy.-
I had planned this one to be a really nice lifestyle post, and it was already meant to go up like two weeks ago. You might have noticed that there's been a little lack of posts every few post days for the past few weeks.

I'm actually quite annoyed at myself for that, because I know that I won't be able to post reguarly during exam season either, which is soon coming up. I thought I would make this one a little catch up instead, so you can understand how I am feeling and why there isn't actual regular content on here at the moment.

I am so passioned about blogging, and I hate that currently whenever it is time to write a blogpost for another posting day, I just get so bored of it and can't be bothered to actually sit down and do it. I keep catching myself, finding excuses why I ain't got time to write a post. Sometimes it actually is that case, as school work isn't always tiny, but that actually wouldn't happen that often either, if I just sat down and didn't leave them till last minute.

It's not that I don't  have any inspiration for blogposts. I actually have got plenty of ideas written down for future blogposts, that I am actually quite exited about posting. I don't know what it is, I guess I'm just in kind of a writing slump maybe. Writing slumps have been happening to me quite a lot more often than I would have liked in the past like two years, and I am not 100% sure why. Is it because I have been stressing myself about school all the time, or is it because of something else?

I know I am quite a stressy person and I'm definitely a perfectionist in quite a few cases. I love that about myself sometimes, but other times I hate myself for it, because it makes me feel so down very easily. I had planned to do so many posts this spring before exam season, and pre-write tons and tons of posts, so you won't miss out on any. But whenever I had had the time for that the past few weeks, I started working on something else instead, just because I didn't feel inspired enough to actually write something. I always feel like the posts take so long to write, but then I actually sit down, and a normal lengthed post usually doesn't take more than an hour, depending on how much I write or how many pictures I have got to edit.

To be fair, saying that I am quite a stressy person, I bascially plan out every minute of my day in some kind of way. Like I am currently getting stressy because I don't know wether I'll have to be ready in one a half hours to go to the gym with my friend or longer, and if so, how much I'll have to run around once I am backto be ready to go out for dinner and how I am going to get back home in time, what the exact amount of time is that I need to leave that, so that I have enough time to get ready. It is so annoying sometimes, and I just sometimes keep finding myself thinking that I won't be able to put in the time to write a post, since I have got so 'many' things left to do before I am going out, even though I have still got like four hours before I am getting picked up. It's just another way of finding an excuse not having to sit down in front of my computer and do it.

Which is actually quite weird for me as well, as I am always doing something at least slightly productive, like I basically never completely shut off. Even when I am on my iPod strolling through Social Media, I find myself thinking about what I am going to have for breakfast in school the next morning or creating a To-Do List for the rest of the night or the next few days.

I am rambling on so much right now about how bad my life is, when I should actually be quite grateful for the amazing life I have got. I guess why I wanted to make this post is, because it always helps to write stuff like that off of your chest, and I also felt like you deserved to know, why my blogposts aren't really that regular at the moment. I know I don't need to apologize for being human, but anyway. There are always times when life's a little shit, and I guess I'm just in a little bit of a blog slump right now, but I promise that I will try my best to not maintain that for too long.

If there's a day in the next few days or weeks that I am feeling quite inspired on, I guess I'll just have to actually sit my butt down in front of a computer, and write till I ain't get any other words to sprinkle out of my head. I am very sorry if I have actually bored the hell out of you with this post, but if you've made it till here - congratulations, 50 dancing points to you.
I guess I have got to go back to reality now and get a little stressy about making it to the bus to go to the gym. I want to end this post on a little bit more of a positive note, so here's my favourite quote, which you might recognize. Have a lovely day, and keep your head up princes and princesses. Life will take a better turn out of this soon!
