My Dream Fulfilling Jar

 Welcome to a new post!

When I first saw this jar in the home store, I knew I wanted it straight away. It was just the thing I had always been looking for to decorate my room with. It is literally a tumblr jar, and I think it's the cutest thing ever. It's probably one of my most favourite things on my shelves.

There a few things printed on the jar, that are examples for things that you could do with the stuff inside of it, or already have done. You are even able to tick the boxes if any of the things on it are what is is for.

I personally don't only want to use this so it looks pretty when people come around my house, but to save some money as well.
You always think about buying less and saving more, but to be honest you don't think about it as much as when you have it right in front of you. I am obviously not telling you to put 100€ note into a jar that everyone can open and grab it when they are over.
Personally I am putting in all the money that I am not using or I put in some, if I feel like it. That's the small pieces in particular.

I want to use this jar to treat myself to something nice when it is full. I've got no idea how much it's going to turn out to be, but even if it's just a few euros - it doesn't matter. But in that way I am at least saving it for something I will actually love. Maybe I will get myself a lipstick from it, or maybe I am going to use it for going on holiday somewhere nice and pretty. I haven't got a plan yet, but I do want to fulfill a little dream with it, which is why I call it my dream fulfilling jar.

Have you ever thought of getting one, or do you own one? I hope I was maybe able to give you some inspiration. You can do so many things with them. You could put in tickets and bills from places you went and want to memorize for example, or simply save some money, and get yourself something nice from it.

If you can't find a similar one, you can always get a plain jar and design it yourself with a marker. :) You can also find similar ones on Etsy.
(Mine is from a German store named Depot, if you are wondering, but I don't think they are selling it anymore.)

If you want me to write another post when I bought myself something from the money inside of the jar, let me know, and I will. :)

Have a good day. ♥

Empty Skin & Hair Care

 Welcome to a new post!

I know these are blogposts and videos that you see quite a lot online, but I still felt like showing you the products that I have used up, as it is easier in that way to tell you my honest opinion about the products.
Since I never really use up any make-up products, this one will be focused mainly on skincare and haircare bits that I have used up, also showing you some German products. If you would like to hear more about German products in particular, please leave me a comment or message me on my social media accounts, which are linked on the right or under 'Contact'.

First thing I used up are two bottles of the Garnier Micellar Water. I tried the one for dry and sensetive skin, as well as the one for normal and sensetive skin, as I wanted to see if I would see any difference.
I don't think I have to say much about this product, as everyone has been talking about it being a Bioderma dupe ever since it came out. Even though I have never tried Bioderma, I do know that I absolutely love this, and I would never change that part of my skinroutine.
I don't really see a difference between the ones for different skintypes, but I do know that I bloody love it, and will keep investing the 4,50€ in it.
Try it, if you haven't done that yet - you won't regret it.

I already talked about the Garnier Wonder Oil on my blog once before when I showed you my Must Have Hair Care Essentials, but since I've finally used the bottle up, I felt the need to talk about it again for a second.
The oil has helped prevent my hair from damage so much, that I don't ever want to miss it in my routine again. I always find it quite helpful against heat. If you want to hear more detail, I have linked you my other blogpost.

The Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish was the first product I ever properly invested in for my skin because everyone has been talking about it for months, maybe even years. It was the best decision I could have made, and I really don't regret it. It makes my skin so soft after using it, and it washes off whatever is on my skin. I cannot wait to try more stuff from Liz Earle in the future.

I have used the Adidas control ultra protection cool & care deodorant for quite a while, especially in the smaller sizes, as it is a great size for your handbag, travelling and sports class.
Since I want to stop using deodorants including aluminum, I won't be repurchasing this anymore though, as it contains that as well. But if you aren't looking after that, this is an amazing deodorant to try.

This is the first German product that I am actually showing you, which is by a really cheap drugstore brand named Balea. They sell some amazing products for the prices, even though you can definetely notice that they aren't expensive.
This one is the Urea eye cream for really dry skin. I don't really think it's for that, but I did use it up anyway, as it wasn't terrible, and because my eyes get quite sensetive after taking my make-up off I need some kind of cream around my eyes anway.
Please make sure to leave me any recommendations for another eye cream to try though, as I really need another one soon.

Last but not least, the Nivea Soft Cream in the smaller size. I have been using it for ages, in the small size in particular, as you can easily take it with you wherever you are going. It's my daily moisturizer and I really like it. I mean there's a very high chance it is not the world's best moisturizer, but it definetely isn't a bad one either. If you are looking for a cheap one, definetely go and have a look at this one.

I hope you enjoyed to see what products I have used up in the past few weeks. Make sure to leave me some recommendations.

Have a good day. ♥

One Week Honest Food Diary Trial

 Welcome to a new post!

Around two weeks ago, one of the bloggers that I read most, Lily Pebbles, posted a blogpost about 'One Week Honest Food Diary'. Here's a link to it, if you haven't seen it yet. She wrote down everything she ate for a whole week, being completely honest, instead of the usual pretending to always eat like that. A lot of people always do food diaries, but to be honest, you always keep in mind while doing that that you are actually documenting that, and people might judge you for it. But this food diary is a honest one, not planning everything out so it seems like you are actually completely healthy, because let's be honest - who is?

I got really interested in that post, as I feel like I haven't been as healthy as I intended to for the past few weeks, and it's really been bothering me. I want to get more creative and more into a habit of eating healthy. So I tried it myself, and here's my 'One Week Honest Food Diary' version, inspired by Lily, and what I learned from it. I did from a Wednesday to a Thursday, just to clarify.

What I learned from writing down what I ate for a whole week:

1)  I keep eating the same things over at least one day just at different times of it, and it usually doesn't have that much variation.

2)  I consume way too much dairy.

3)  I need more inspiration on things to make myself and eat, especially for breakfast and 'Coffee time'.

4)  I need to take more time to prepare my food so I can be more creative as well, instead of throwing something together in a few minutes.

5)  I should go back to eating more fruit and vegetables.

6)  I eat way too much muesli, even when I don't even feel like eating it just because I don't have any other idea.

7)  I feel happier with the stuff that I eat on the days that my mum makes/prepares most of the food.

8)  I need and want to cook more for myself when I have the time to, and make more effort than just throwing a vegetarian meat thingy in the pan, just because it's fast and easy.

9)  I care more about my workout and my water impact than the actual things that I eat, even though I want a proper result.

10)  I should go do the food shopping with my parents a bit more often to find more things I could eat and make.

My goals:

I want to eat less dairy, and more fruit and vegetables instead. I want to cook more, and get more inspiration to be more creative with the things that I eat. I want to stop eating muesli all the time, as well as other things I keep repeating and instead eat different things.

I hope you enjoyed this kind of blogpost. Thank you to Lily for the inspiration (not that I think you would ever read this, but a girl can dream). Please make sure to check out her blogpost as well, and let me know what you want to change in your eating habits. :)

Have a great week. ♥

Skincare Wishlist

Welcome to a new post!

If you've been reading my blog for a while, you will know that I already did a post on my make-up wishlist. When I remembered, I thought it was finally the time to also do a skincare version of it, as I am also quite interested in trying out and investing more in skincare.

I have put it into price order, so I am starting with the least expensive things which is then going to build up in price until about 60€, as I already find that a (sorry for the language) shit load of money for some product to throw on your face, even if you only get one.

 5€
Starting off with the Sephora Rose mask, which is around the 5€ mark. Whenever I am scrolling through the Sephora website I am looking at these masks, and always thought that I wanted to try them. Since I love roses and their smell, and it is also a mask which is supposed to be really moisturizing and brightening, I want to try the Rose version. Hopefully I'll be getting my hands on it the next time I am down in Strasbourg.

 13€
The Lush Eau Roma Water has also been on my list for quite a while now, and every time I go to Lush I stand infront of it again, but then not decide to get it. I don't really know why I do that, but I guess it's because I know that my skin easily gets sensetive when I try new toners, and this one actually is around 13€. But one day I'll hopefully get my bum to try it.

 14€
I really like masks against break outs and things like that, and the Lush Mask of Magnamity has been hyped online for so long, I really feel the need to try it. It seems to be a really good one, and I always use masks, especially when I get a proper hurting spot on my face (not that I have bad skin, but who honestly likes spots? :D).

 18€
I have tried the very hyped Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish before, and ever since I fell in love with that I wanted to try more Liz Earle products. I see a lot of people talking about how Liz Earle skincare has made their skin so much better, which is also another point why I want to try more. I chose the Instant Boost Skin Tonic, as I really want to get my skincare level a bit up, as I usually only use an eye and a normal face cream.

20€
I also want to try their Deep Cleansing Mask, as as I already mentioned, I love trying new masks, and this one sounds really nice and also consists of more natural ingredients than most others. It has it's price which is why I haven't ordered it yet, but I'll hopefully be doing that in the future.

25€
I first heard about the brand Daytox on the website of a german beauty store, and ever since I have been interested in trying anything from their range, as I haven't heard anything about it before. As I have never used a serum before, I think it would be really nice to try their serum, and see what I think both of the idea of a serum, the product and the brand. Maybe I'll add that to my next order online, we'll see.

25€
I had already ordered the small version of the Origins Clear Improvement Mask, but decided to return it, as I didn't feel like paying that much for the small sized bottle. I have been wanting to try these masks ever since I heard about the brand on Zoe's channel before, as they are said to be pretty pretty good. It's also against spots etc., so the exact type of mask I like trying. (Yes, I do love masks a lot. :D)

27€
I don't really own a proper and amazing cream for my face, even though I use a cream every day and it is an important part of the skincare routine. I've heard quite a few good things about the Khiel's Ultra Facial Cream, so I really want to invest in it at some point and give it a try, and see how my face reacts.

35€
All eye creams I have ever tried are all below the 4€ mark if I remember correctly, which actually pains me, even though I still don't own any other one, but I find moisturizing under your eyes quite important, and I also really need it, since make-up removers usually properly dry out my eye area. I want to try the Clinique All About Eyes Rich one, simply because I am quite interested in trying something from Clinique, and also the things that it apparently is doing, according to the bottle.

35€
If you are doing a lot of online browsing on blogs and youtube you will probably already be annoyed about this product, as literally every single person in the beauty world that has tried it is talking about it - the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel. I am not really the person for the cleansing gels, but since everyone has been raving about it at least as much as my next product, I really really want to try it in the future and see what I think. Everything that is holding me back at the moment is the price tag and the fact that I am actually not one that like cleansing gels.

60€
Tanya Burr has been raving about the Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm for years now, and ever since she started I wanted to see it myself, what is supposed to be so amazing about this product. I also have never tried a Cleansing Balm before, but I am so interested in seeing how a balm can clean your face so well. I only wish the price wouldn't be that high, but oh well, you only get one skin I guess, right? :D

If you liked this post please let me know, as I like hearing opinions on what I am doing. Also leave me some of your recommendations and skincare bits you want to try yourself in the future. :)

Have a good weekend ♥

Sticking to Your Fitness Goals

 Welcome to a new post!

I knew I wanted to make a fitness related post, but I didn't want it to be the typical post where I tell you how you get slim and healthy in three seconds or something like that. I ended up with the idea of telling you my tips on sticking to your fitness goals. I have tried my best not to come up with the ones that everyone has already told you tons of times on other blogs, youtube or whatever.

Sticking to your fitness goals doesn't sound quite as hard once you've come up with that idea, but then you find yourself snuggled up in bed again with cookies, crisps, fries or whatever, thinking about working out, but not ending up doing anything. I know there are a lot of people who have that problem, especially after New Years when they made it their goal to finally work out.
I have personally had that struggle, but finally found a way to overcome it somehow, and now I have been sticking to a proper schedule for a year, which is quite good for me. I tried sticking to it twice, and once completely failed after doing a 7 minute workout every day for four months, and once after doing it for 1 and a half months, but then picked it up again.

So here is what I find helpful, to now stop working out.

1) SPICE AND CHANGE IT UP

If you keep doing the same moves all of the time, you will immediately get bored of it and not feel motivated anymore to actually work out. Change it up from time to time, don't focus on doing the same things all the time. Make it harder, the further you get with your workouts. Try new workout guides, videos, routines, courses - basically everything that comes up to your mind. Don't wait until all your motivation is lost, if you feel getting bored of the moves, find something new.

I personally find the Blogilates calendars quite amazing, as the workout videos you have to do change every day and every month. Kayla Itsines's workouts are a bit pricey, but they are really hard and work pretty well, which might make you see your goals a bit faster than with Blogilates. Also the Nike + app is really cool, as there are quite a few different workouts for different fitness levels and goals, and it's also for free.

2) WRITE IT DOWN

Print your routine out or write it down. Keeping it in front of your face will remind you of the things that you have set as your goal. That way you keep it on your mind a little bit longer than just thinking about it.
Try it out, especially when you are just starting out. I did it, and now I don't even need to do it anymore, as it has become a complete part of my routine, which I always keep in mind, no matter what I plan.

3)  GO TO CLASSES

Have a look at your local gym and see what kind of classes they teach. I think basically every gym does it, and there is something for everyone to do. Even when you aren't feeling motivated, going to a class will motivate you when you see all those other people working out next to you and with you. Try it. If you don't want to go alone, go grab a friend, and it will be even more fun.

4) HAVE A ROUTINE

Come up with a routine, to be sure to stick to working out. It doesn't have to be planned out from the first second, but setting certain days and a certain time where you want to start makes it easier for you to plan your day and still find time for working out.
Don't forget rest days either! Have at least one a week for your body to rest, which it really will need after days and days of hard work.

5) BUY NEW GYM CLOTHES

Buying new gym clothes and looking at all of them in shop can really motivate you to actually do something. I mean who doesn't like a new set of clothes and gets exited to wear them, let's be honest! So try that with gym clothes, and it might work a hell of a lot than many other things.

6) GET INSPIRED

Read, watch, shop, everything that comes to your mind. Getting inspiration online, especially on WeHeartIt and Youtube, is personally something that really helps me a lot. By seeing other people succeeding in the things you want to achieve and do can really put you into a better mood, especially when you feel like working out, but don't. It doesn't mean that you should compare yourself to others, not at all, but taking it as a motivation to actually get your bum up is quite a nice thing to do.

7) TAKE PICTURES

Looking at before and after pictures is probably the best thing ever. You don't notice the difference as much when you are looking at your body from day to day, but when you actually see a difference in pictures, it really gives you the feeling that you have actually achieved something, and it will make you want to work even harder.

8) DON'T LEAVE BUSY DAYS OUT

Of course you need to prioritize, but just because you feel like you have so many things to do, doesn't mean you should always leave out your workout. Actually, I find working out on stressy days quite relaxing, as it lets my mind concentrate on something else for a little while at least. Try to do a little workout at least, even if it's just ten minutes. A workout is a workout.

I really hope these tips where at least a tiny bit helpful, even if they weren't the most original ones. I personally find these points quite important for myself to maintain my routine and stick to my goals to achieve them. Seeing results is the most motivating thing ever, and I really hope that you are able to stick to your goals and keep working out.
Let me know what you do to keep working out down below. :)

Have a good day and week. :)

MAC & Revlon Haul

Welcome to a new post!

I recently went online and used my vouchers for a German make-up store, that I got for Christmas and my birthday, and ordered a few new things. I really wanted to invest in a few new things instead of buying tons of really cheap stuff that I am not entirely happy with.

I orginially had also ordered some skincare bits as well, but it really is important to look at the size of the bottle that you are buying, guys. Anything can sound kinda cheap, but then a tiny tiny bottle might arrive if you forgot to check how much there is supposed to be in it. :D Let me tell you, I know what I am talking about. :D

Here's a quick overview over the things that I bought.

I literally went mad when only the insert of the MAC palette arrived, because I had no idea that you had to order the insert AND the proper palette, which is quite annoying. I still ended up ordering the actual palette then, because I had wanted this palette for ages. It is just so pretty, even if it's literally just a piece of plastic for 26€. The price is ridiculous, but to be honest I will treasure this and probably won't buy another one for quite a while, as it actually is quite a pricey thing, especially for someone my age.

I want this palette to only consist of loads of colours that I will actually use and love a lot, so basically - tons of browns and golden shimmery colours, so when I have filled this palette it will be this desert-island-palette kind of thing.
To start that off I ordered two eyeshadows, both colours that I will get a lot of use out of. I chose the shades 'Handwritten', as well as 'All that glitters'
'Handwritten' is a really nice warm brown, which actually the exact colour that I was looking for, as I like wearing this kinda colour in the crease and corner of my eye.
'All that glitters' is really hyped, so I guess I won't have to tell you much about it, but it's basically just a really nice golden, apricot shimmery shade, perfect for the whole lid.

Ever since I saw Lily Pebbles talking about the MAC lipstick in 'Syrup' I have been interested in this shade. It is the prettiest shade ever. A really nice neutral tone, that isn't too unnoticeable. I would describe it as an old kind of pinkish tone with a really nice brown undertone, which gives it this really nice and unique in between shade. If you are looking for something natural but a bit more noticeable, have a look at this one, you might fall in love with it as well.

They are finally selling some Revlon bits in German online shops which I am really happy about, as I didn't end up buying anything when I went to London.
I ended up going for the Lacquer Lip Balm in the shade 105, which I thought would be a  really nice natural rosy tone, but when it came, actually looked more peachy toned. It contains quite a lot of glitter, which I am not really a big fan of, and I don't think it's very moisturizing either, but I do still like it.

This is a sample of the Strictly Jil Sander Shampoo, which I actually got for ordering so much stuff lol. I did expect something else, but I always enjoy trying new shampoos, so we'll see how I get on with it.

And last but not least the samples that I picked with both orders, which I am really happy about, even if the shade of the foundation won't match me. :D

Thank you for reading this post, and my other blogposts. I am really thankful for all of it. :)
Let me know if there is anything in particular that you want me to talk about, or think I should check out. Recommendations are always appreciated. :)
