Welcome to a new post!
I'm really really sorry that I didn't manage to upload this blog post a few days ago, because the third week has already started and I am yet to share this beautiful post with you about all of my photography from my first week in Brighton. And I've also got a bunch of pictures from a trip to London I did in my second week, so you'll hopefully be spammed with blog posts the next few weeks.
I don't really have much time to do anything after work, so I usually use that to go and meet some friends or go to the beach, so it can be hard to find time to squeeze in writing.
I'll stop finding excuses now and leave you with this. I'll try my best to upload again, as soon as possible. Sorry, if you don't like staring at photography. I've got some other, more fun posts planned, relating to this trip, so get exited for that!
I had a beautiful first week in Brighton, where I did a lot of exploring, especially of the lanes, and I spent almost every day at the beach, because I just couldn't leave it alone. England has literally been blessed with the nicest weather this month, and you just have to try and make the most of it, because you never know what the weather might look like the next day.
There'll probably be a whole post coming about places you definitely have to visit and really good food places that we've been to. Sorry if there are way too many pictures in this post today, but I just couldn't keep myself together. The next few weeks might include a few less pictures...but maybe not, who knows :D
This was my first full day in England. That's actually a place in Fyrle, a town close to Brighton. It was literally the most beautiful day, and you would not believe that this is so close to a big city because it literally felt like you were in the middle of the country. It was absolutely stunning. I would have happily moved in and spend the rest of my life decorating the insides.

Okay, to be honest, not every day was sunny, but you can't just not go to the beach. I love the atmosphere at the beach. I find it so calming, even when it's windy and freezing. Just the smell of the salt and the water, the sound of the waves crashing against the shore...so dreamy!

The pier lit up by night.
The lanes by night.
Yes, we totally went to GBK, only to have a hot chocolate. We do have an excuse though: we had literally had dinner just an hour before that, so we were already full. We really want to go back and have a burger though...and sweet potato fries...I need sweet potato fries.
Cheese Omelette Bagel from Bagelman - yassss! I also love these fresh juices from M&S! I wish German supermarkets wouldn't only sell Smoothies. I just prefer a good old juice!
View from the pier.
It looked like it was going to rain any minute (which it didn't, gladly), and I just feel like this black and white filter makes this picture look at least ten times cooler than in colour.
Beach Huts in Hove. A certain famous British youtuber used to live in one of the houses behind those huts, but you'll hear a lot more about that in a blog post in the next few weeks.
Black and white though.
Doing some writing and editing on the beach ♥
Chocolate ice cream at Boho Gelato is a total yes, Carrot Cake is an okay. I was expecting it to taste a little better to be honest, given how much everyone is raving about it. But oh well, I guess I am just used to different things.

That's my first week in Brighton summed up in way too many pictures. I hope you enjoyed looking at some of these shots as much as I loved taking them. I am now going to edit this post, and then I am going to try and get onto the next one straight away so you don't have to wait forever to get another one. :)
If you have ever been to Brighton, or you might even live in the area, let me know of any tips that you have! Whether it's food, places or activities. I am up to any ideas.
Have a beautiful day!
Lots of love,
Jacqueline Xx
